Greetings from San Diego Mural

After a 3 month summer break in Toronto, I am finally back in San Diego. While Toronto has its graffiti alley and countless murals, California definitely has endless wall art. One of my favorite murals in San Diego is the Greeting Tour postcard

The Mural

The mural is located at 4225 30th Street in North Park. Its tucked away on a drive aisle beside a Money Gram and T-mobile parking lot. This makes it easy to get the perfect shot, since you don’t need to worry about standing in traffic and getting run over. Painted in 2016, each letter of the mural features a different sight in San Diego. Definitely a great highlight of things worth seeing in the city.

S – Hotel del Coronado

A – Coronado Bridge

N – Matt Hensley ollie on overpass (Photo: Daniel Harold Sturt)

D – Sunset Cliffs

I – Persue “Bunny Kitty” (So cute!)

E – American flag, Mexican flag

G – Balboa Park

O – Giant Dipper, Belmont Park

Even though I always end up wearing prints, I actually wore something more neutral for a change.  This strapless denim dress is from urban outfitters, similar here. I love the style of the button up skirts, so a version that is a whole dress is a nice find.

I also wore these Steve Madden velvet booties that I found at Marshalls. (Surprisingly comfortable and blister free)

There are so many great murals across San Diego and up the coast. If you like postcard murals, there is another one in San Diego! It is of the U.S. Naval Training Station and can be found at 2825 Dewey Rd.
