As I was packing for my three week trip to Italy, I knew I wanted to be able to track my fitness. When else do you climb duomos and towers every other day while walking from morning to night? But I also knew I didn’t want to bring another converter to charge it everyday. That’s when I came across the Misfit Path.
Style
The thing I love most about this smartwatch is that you can’t tell it is one! It is not bulky and looks like a normal watch. I got it in the colour Rosy Beige that has rose gold hardware and pastel pink straps. It is feminine, neutral and worked with everything I wore.
Features
The Misfit Path does everything I need and more. I find both the step counter and the sleep tracker to be accurate while also being very customizable in both features and straps.
While I am usually against the idea of downloading another app in order the use the device, the Misfit app is actually well designed and easy to use. You are able the set up the buttons to change a variety of functions, such as a music remote, camera remote and even a presentation clicker. You can also set as many or as little reminders as far as being active goes. The light vibrate of the watch is a lot less passive aggressive than the “Get up” of my apple watch, which I like.
The feature that I love most (besides the time automatically updating in different time zones) is the battery life. It uses a watch battery and lasts ~6 months. The phone app lets you know how much charge is remaining, so you’ll never be stuck running errands with a dead smart watch.
The Misfit Path is waterproof as well. I like the silicone bands it came with, as I didn’t feel bad swimming with my watch on and it getting soggy. The silicone is grooved underneath, so your skin still breathes and doesn’t sweat (at least as much compared to silicone apple watch bands).
