Hi I’m Sasha Ast.
I am from Toronto, Canada, but I’m currently making the move to San Diego for school. I never pictured myself moving for school, none the less moving all the way across another country to California. However when the option presented itself, it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up (even though I will miss my cats).
I have always been obsessed with clothes (and bathing suits, yay moving to California). Being on a student budget, I definitely learned how to get the most bang for your buck. I tend to construct outfits on any budget from pay day treat yo self to ramen for dinner.
My favourite pastime and hobby would be crocheting. It served useful as a kid, selling hats to buy Barbies. I’ve grown my pastime into something I’m proud of. I’ve been selling crocheted odds and ends to a few stores from the age of 12. Since then I’ve opened an Etsy store and focused on making a style for my brand 6ixStitch (I am from Toronto after all). One of the main reasons I started this blog was to have a place to share my love of crocheting and crafting.
Currently, I am an architecture student pursuing my Masters degree. Architecture has been my top career choice since I was five years old and pretended to be sick so I could stay home and play Roller Coaster Tycoon that I got for free in a cereal box. Since then, I got my hand on every tycoon game released and slowly moved over to real design programs.
After seeing my sister grow her blog Nataliastyle since 2009, I figured it was time for me to start. At worst it can always be an online storage of my time here in San Diego.
